PHILLY BIKE EXPO DOINGS!

Trophy Bikes will be at the Philly Bike Expo Nov. 7-8, & you should be as well! We’ll be showing the latest from BROMPTON and SURLY.

We’ll also have some fun rides.

Saturday, there is a Brompton Breakfast Roll to the Bike Expo. Meets 9 a.m. sharp inside Amtrak 30th St. Station (at the central info booth). We’ll ramble up and under Philadelphia’s lively center city before winding up at the Expo right around opening. NOTE: your Brompton bicycle gets you into the Expo free, including secure indoor bike parking.

COBBLEposter1

Sunday morning, DO the BUMP! This challenging ride will tackle a choice selection of Philadelphia’s oldest cobbled, brick-paved, crumbling historic streets. We rumble over the roughest roads in Kensington and Old City before arriving at the Philly Bike Expo. There will be priceless Swag thanks to Surly Bikes. MEETS 8:45 sharp at Trophy Bikes, 712 N. 2nd St. NOTE: we strongly recommend min. tire size of 2″/38mm AND helmet, spare tubes, gloves and sense of humor. Please check in at our FB Events Page!

SURLY SUNDAY AT THE EXPO If you’re riding your Surly bike on Sunday, your ticket is free. Head straight for the heavily-guarded indoor valet bike parking and show them your ticket for free admission.

As a forward-thinking bike shop, utilizes any and all advertising media modalities to reach our target demographic: in this case , @upenngapsa and @uofpenn students walking along the 4500 Block of Pine Street. We know Ivy League cyclists need a shop that's available at the start and finish of their long days!
Fun Facts: 1) These nasty little signs (16th below Locust St., W. side) are illegal code violations. 2) If they cut your lock, etc., it's a crime. 3) Probably simple to use a nutdriver to remove them and reinstall them face in. 3B) The metal they're made of feels flimsy and easy to bend. 4) PHL Streets/311 will be sending an inspector out shortly.
BEHOLD! This rig helped us get this classic Billy Preston (who brought his punchy keyboard style to the Beatles' hit "Get Back", among others) vinyl back to where it once belonged: 4 zip ties, 1 foam spacer--and done.
This PCC (Presidents Conference Car) came out in 1947. So did Andrew Ritchie, who grew up to design and manufacture the Brompton folder bicycle. Today, Brompton Bicycle Limited's machines are fitting seamlessly with transit all over the world. This, @septaphilly Car , was renovated 2002-2004 and serves the Rte. 15 Line, whizzing along Girard Avenue, not far from !
