Also called "Grip Kings", the MKS Lambda pedals are an excellent alternative to clipless pedals for touring or city commuting.  The extra-wide, extra-long platform allows for multiple foot positions and helps to eliminate hot spots on extended rides or multi-day tours.  The unique design of the grip section is also less destructive to shoes than similar pedals with studded grips.

All this and the Lambdas are surprisingly light at 420 grams, virtually the same weight as MKS' Touring Pedal despite appearing much larger.  At least one Trophy employee has rode these guys across country and a handful ride them around the city.  If you're unsatisfied with your current set-up, sick of dealing with clipless in the city, or simply want to sample the full-range of what platform pedals have to offer, these oddballs are a cult favorite that feel unlike anything else out there.
